As the NSW government launches a new $1 million dollar campaign against the perils of binge drinking we’re undecided as to whether it will be the AFL or the NRL who will be the first to do something stupid under the influence of booze.
Who could forget these classic snippets of history:
Greg Bird – Glasses his missus and blames the booze

Tell her once
Big Fav Fights an Irish Barman

Goin' Hard!!
Or last but not least our favourite Benny Cousins….

With two crap performances under his belt and a harsh dose of reality server to David Warner, it now seems like we have a new ‘Warner’ in the making on the tennis courts.

Teen Hero or just another Warner?
Thats right, as spouted on SMH 16 yrs, 84 days, 12 hours, 32 secs old TEEN HERO (FFS) Bernard Tomic has blasted his way into the second round of the Australian Open defeating 73 ranked Potito Starace.
So lets build up this tall poppy so we can cut him down to size when he crashes out in the second round the same way we pumped a ton of pressure on warner only to cut him down when he failed to make a significant impact in the last one dayer.

FINALLY, the board of selectors finally get something right! I mean where the hell did they find this kid, David Warner. No really….with no first class caps, not even for his home state of NSW, it looks like the ACB have started scowering local cricket pitches for the next big thing.
It took balls to make this call and it seems finally someone on the ACB has moved their balls from left to right and right to left after what was a mockery of a test series to make Warner an instant hit with the fans.
Shit I remember my backyard cricket days when I was a kid, you know one hand one bounce, over the fence is six and out, I have half a mind to send in my old video footage to see if I can get on the team:
It was interesting to note that it wasn’t the Aussies that spotted Warner first, it was the IPL.Here’s hoping he can back it up tonight with another run fest.

The sixth Homeless World Cup kicked off in Melbourne this week with bums from 56 ghettos from around the world competing for the Golden Shopping Trolley Trophy.
Organisers are hoping the rain holds off otherwise the Cardboard Box village will turn into a paper mache’ wonderland.
Expect the fans to get involved with creative cardboard signs that really pull in the heart strings.
The Homeless World Cup runs from December 1 to December 7

Ponting’s catch off the bowling of Brett Lee to dismiss Jamie How has been rated as one of the best catches of all times!
Ponting’s acrobatics followed by his celebratory sprint has rated up there with other classic catches including Glenn McGrath’s horizontal leap and catch to dismiss England opener Michael Vaughan in front of the members’ fence at Adelaide Oval in the 2002-03 Ashes series and in particular former Australian skipper Allan Border’s classic slips catch to dismiss New Zealand opener John Reid at the Gabba in 1985.
Where do you rate this catch?

In September this year Top Gear Australia brought to our attention an argument between Porsche and Nissan over who built the better speed machine. There was a lot of back and forth over speed limiters, tires, conditions, etc etc. Even the STIG took the GT2 around the Top Gear test track in a touch faster time than the GTR.
Well the good folks over at carsguide looked to have settled the argument with this super cool video of the Nissan GTR doing the Nurburgring in 7:29….5 seconds quicker than the GT 2.
Head on over to Carsguide to watch the video!! Super Cool!!!
